Grant Assistant - Springdale, AR |

The Grants Assistant will be expected to perform the following tasks:
1. Assist in the management and implementation of grants awarded to company
• Assist in developing and updating detailed implementation plans and in ensuring the implementation of activities related to each grant
• Assist in developing and implementing plans for wide circulation of Call for Proposals through various media including email, newspaper, radio and TV;
• Receive, register, and prepare for evaluation of proposals received;
• Assist in establishing the ACT-GF Steering Committee and arrange for regular meetings of the committee to evaluate proposals and to take stack of progress by civil society organization receiving grants;
• Assist in preparing documentation for transfer of grants including grant agreements, budget and performance targets for the selected grant recipients and arrange for signing of the agreements.
2. Provide administrative support to the ACT-GF team:
• Prepare a proper filing and record keeping system and ensure that all ACT-GF projects have proper documentation;
• Follow up and receive expenditure reports from ACT-GF projects and ensure that the grantees receive their payments on-time and in accordance with UNDP financial rules and regulation;
• Assist in organizing capacity building, awareness-raising and evaluation workshops for civil society organizations on anti-corruption activities and to raise awareness on ACT-GF;
• Arrange for accommodation and travel of ACT-GF team to provinces.
• Other administrative assistance as necessary.
3. Monitoring & evaluation and reporting:
• Assist in developing performance indicators and success criteria for the ACT-GF as whole and for each grant recipient;
• Assist in developing, implementing and updating a monitoring and evaluation plan for each grant recipient and ensure timely implementation of the plan including follow up with the grant recipients on reporting and provision of necessary documentation for project records;
• Visit grant recipients on the project site and participate in events organized by the grant recipients if applicable;
• Support the ACT-GF M&E Officer in providing regular updates to the ACT-GF team on the progress of ACT-GF projects.
